Can’t afford not to work, how do you get to go to school?
Currently I work two jobs and I am tring to by a house. I hate struggleing and having no time to spend with my family so I want to go to school to better myself.
How can I do that when I need to earn so much money every week to get by? Any suggestions are welcome!

You’re going to have to make some sacrifices, my friend. That money you’re saving for a house should go to school if that’s what you really want to do. If you put off buying a house now, and can graduate debt-free, you will be in a better position to get a home mortgage later, especially factoring in a higher income if you get a better job. If you try to take on both a home mortgage and student loans without a high-paying job to support both, you’re just putting yourself in more debt than you might possibly handle. Don’t envy your situation, wish you good luck.

There are many satelite schools out there today, for adults that work, have families, and want to go back to school. Phoenix university, Chapman University, etc. They offer classes at night, so you can go after work. You can sign up for financial aid and get government grants, scholarships, and student loans. Only the student loans have to be repaid. But, if you study to become a well paid professional, paying the loans should be no problem. Look into it, it is very accomidating for working adults with families.
Rememmber, four years from now, you can be four years older and still living the life you currently have, or you can go to school and in the same amount of time, get a degree and better your life. Either way, the time is going to pass, so you might as well better yourself!

No one loves this answer, but student loans are what did it for me. Yes the interest is a pain and yes you have to pay it off, but you don’t have to start paying on it until 6 months after you graduate. Or you could always work during the day and go to school at night or vice versa… but you might spread yourself too thin and not do well in either area. You might be eligible for grants as well, and you don’t have to pay those back, so they help a ton. If federal loans aren’t enough, there are other loans available through the bank to help cover other expenses. Work hard in school and earn yourself a scholarship to cut down on tuition. Buy your books off of ebay and half.com rather than at the bookstore… lots of ways to make it work as long as you’re dedicated enough to the idea of going to school! Good luck!

First look into scholarships and grants. Start small by going to a community college. Tuiton for a full semester would be less that 2K. You also may be able to get loans that you can borrow for when you are in school and pay back 6 mo. after you graduate. Your best bet may be to go full-time to a community college, get scholarships and grants, and continue to work one of your jobs. Good luck!

Look for scholarships and grants, go through your employment office through work force they will pay 100% of your school. Put your house purchase on hold until you can get a better job, maybe move to a smaller, lees expensive apartment and look at your spending, a little change can go a long way

Try an online school. You can do it when you have time. Many community colleges have flexible schedules also because they know that people need to work. Good Luck.
