My Job

Introduction:

My job is to place orders and to check the delivery at the grocery store which is next to the post office subunit, I loved my job and each day has its own new experience, I work as a supervisor and I have a lot of duties to attend to, I arrive at the work place at 7 am before all the workers, my first duty is to check any stock in the store that need to be ordered, if any I have to place orders by calling the suppliers.

This first duty takes about thirty minutes when the other workers start to arrive, I have to register the workers and start supervising the cleaning process in the store. The rest of the day involves supervising the delivery of the goods and also making sure that consumers who visit the store are satisfied with the services and the goods they collect. This paper describes my job and the three unusual things about my job.

Unusual things about my job:

My job has three unusual things, the first unusual thing is that we all share common activities, we all go for meals at one place where we share about current trends in our work, we also get together after work where we have our own sports club, this is very amazing as we have time to understand each and every ones strengths, for me I am very good at volleyball. unity for the people we work with we are able to meet the employers’ needs and also we help each other in the workplace when one has some important appointments to attend to.

The other unusual thing in my work place is that we have a financial plan among all the workers, we assist each other to achieve their plans, we contribute towards this plan each month where I am the treasurer and anyone who needs financial assistance all the workers meet and agree on lending a person where I am authorized give a certain amount of money to the worker, sometimes we usually do not have funds and therefore we draft a letter to our employer for financial assistance and he has never failed us.

The last unusual thing at my workplace is that we are awarded every month for a job well done, the mostly rewarded workers are those that attend to their duties effectively and efficiently, this depends on consumer feedback, this rewards are in monetary form or even sometimes gifts, when consumers recommend services of an employee then he definitely receives the reward. This aids in motivating workers in their day to day duties, every worker also aims at meeting the needs of the employer.

Conclusion:
